PCB layout is very important for stable

operation. Follow these guidelines for best

results.

1) Connect the input ground to the GND pin

using the possible shortest and widest trace.

2) Connect the input capacitor to the IN pin

using the possible shortest and widest trace.

3) Ensure all feedback connections are short

and direct. Place the feedback resistors and

compensation components as close to the chip

as possible.

4) Route SW away from sensitive analog areas

such as FB.

5) Connect AGND to GND plane with single

trace.
